The TCS230 color sensor combines configurable silicon photodiodes and a current-to-frequency converter on a single monolithic CMOS integrated circuit. The full-scale output frequency of this color sensor can be scaled by one of three preset values via two control input pins. This TCS230 color sensor come with digital input and output which allow direct interface to a microcontroller or other logic circuitry.
